Karragarra Island or ‘Karra' as it is affectionately known is the smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay islands and only a short ferry trip from Redland Bay. These islands are well known for their relative seclusion and sheltered location.
As ‘Karra” has no retail facilities and is purely residential, it is a very tranquil, peaceful island to holiday. But if it is water action you enjoy, the Bay is the perfect place for boating and fishing with many wonderful places to visit and explore. The island has a safe swimming enclosure on a beautiful white sandy beach and families can enjoy BBQ's and picnics under covered picnic tables with a playground close by.
